If you e-mail us descriptive text describing your business, we will add it to your page at no charge. Additional text on your page (300 words is optimal) increases the liklihood that search engines will index your page so that your page can be found independantly of our directory by people using the various search engines.

Our firm, in addition to creating web sites for local businesses, creates web directories serving Chicago area web users, indexes that guide those users to local businesses with web sites. We are in the process of creating village directories for other northern suburbs; town directories that are comprehensive, with every store front business included.

Photographers ranks 10 of 1,400,000 in Google. We rank 6 nationally and 2 locally for furniture. We rank 2 nationally and 1 locally for painters. In Google nationally art galleries ranks 8, and 2 locally for 'Chicago art galleries'. For 'Coffees' we rank 1 nationally and 1 locally. Our placements in AOL, Excite, Alta Vista and the other major search engines consistently bring our directory pages and our clients' sites into top 10 positions. Using specific search words, like the words above, in combination with the word Chicago and other local towns, usuallly brings top 10 rankings in numerous search engines for sites designed by Andrew Lehman Design and the directories created to bring our clients business.

We maintain almost 450 directory pages drawing visitors through many categories. Our furniture page receives over 2000 visitors a week, our restaurant page over 2000 visitors a week, art galleries over 700 visitors a week, etc. The Evanston directory page (up 10 months now, receives over 2500 visitors a week, the restaurant page within that directory receiving between 300 and 400 visitors a week.
